Drawing from her research, writing, and personal experiences, Pember explores the lasting impacts of the federal Indian boarding school system and the resilience of Native communities.

Hear Mary Annette Pember share insights from her research, writing, and personal experiences, followed by audience Q&A. Copies of Mary's book will be sold by the 17³Ô¹Ï Bookstore after the presentation.

2:30–4:30 pm: Reception - Hosted by 17³Ô¹Ï in collaboration with Wild Plume
Continue the conversation over light refreshments provided by Wild Plume, Indigenous Caterer.
