17³Ô¹Ï Vice President of Administration Kristina Aschenbrenner has been elected to join the Districts Mutual Insurance (DMI) Board of Directors. Aschenbrenner’s three-year term will begin July 1.

The 16 Wisconsin Technical Colleges came together in 2004 to form DMI to address insurance rate increases, coverage limits, and increasing deductibles. 

"This role demonstrates Kristina Aschenbrenner's outstanding leadership qualities and highlights 17³Ô¹Ï's position in Wisconsin higher education," said 17³Ô¹Ï President Kate Ferrel. "Kristina's election underscores our dedication to fostering purposeful partnerships and service to the people who live here in northern Wisconsin."

Aschenbrenner was elected in April at DMI’s annual meeting. "I am honored to serve on the board of Districts Mutual Insurance and look forward to helping DMI support our state's technical college system," she said.
