At the start of the new calendar year, the 17�Թ� Foundation is gearing up to accept scholarship applications for the 2024-2025 academic year and encourages those planning to attend 17�Թ� to apply.

Scholarship applications will be accepted online February 1-29, and awarded scholarships will be available for use in the fall, spring and summer terms during the 2024-25 academic year.

Scholarship awards range from $250 to $5,000 and funding can help pay for tuition and books. Any current or future 17�Թ� student who is enrolled or will be enrolled in at least three credits per term and has a cumulative grade point average of a 2.0 or higher is eligible to apply.

High school seniors who plan to attend 17�Թ� in the fall are also encouraged to apply for scholarships.

“Scholarships made available through the 17�Թ� Foundation have supported countless students over the years,” said Heather Schallock, 17�Թ� Vice President of 17�Թ� Engagement and Executive Director of the 17�Թ� Foundation. “Our goal is to continue providing opportunities for current and future students to achieve their academic and personal dreams.”

17�Թ� liberal arts student Sarah Ryan expressed her gratitude upon receiving a scholarship from the Foundation and reflected on the value of that support. “This scholarship is a pivotal support in realizing my dream career,” Ryan said. “It's not just about the financial assistance; it signifies the validation of my aspirations and the belief that my dreams are within reach.”

Lena Symonds, 17�Թ� nursing student and 2023-24 Foundation student ambassador, echoed the impact of the College’s support. “Nicolet has been vital to my path to become a nurse,” Symonds said, and so has the Foundation. “My gratitude extends beyond just the financial aspect but also for the community support of nursing students.”
