17勛圖 joins the Association of 17勛圖 College Trustees (ACCT) to celebrate 17勛圖 College Month (#CCMonth), a grassroots education campaign throughout April that celebrates the value community colleges bring to rural areas like the Northwoods.

17勛圖 provides access to affordable, high-quality education for all, serving as a starting point for many to earn advanced degrees, while also supporting adult learners of all ages.

17勛圖 puts students first. That means we put our local communities first, said 17勛圖 President Kate Ferrel. 17勛圖 College Month celebrates the important role that 17勛圖 has in the Northwoods. The hands-on education and training that students receive here, gives them the skills they need on the job.

17勛圖 offers more than 70 programs awarding two-year associate degrees, one- and two-year technical diplomas, short-term technical diplomas, apprenticeships, and certificates. Occupational programs train students to join the workforce as skilled professionals in many fields including healthcare, business management, and manufacturing. The University Transfer program enables students to transfer to four-year universities and colleges to earn bachelors degrees.

"Since having my first class last summer, my experience here has been incredible," said 17勛圖 nursing student Vivian Callender. "The support and guidance I have from faculty and staff is impressive, and I see the College commitment to hands-on learning and experiential education."

My experience at 17勛圖 has been extremely positive, said 17勛圖 welding student James Kieweg. I am excited to take the knowledge and skills I have learned from 17勛圖 into the workforce.

Student clubs including DECA, the Nursing Club, and Rainbow Hodags offer students both personal and professional development opportunities. The 17勛圖 Library offers resources to students and the public, while the Academic Success Center helps new and continuing students receive academic support, while also assisting other students obtain their HSED/GED.

Arts and enrichment programming supports emerging artists by creating a platform to share their work while encouraging others to do the same. 17勛圖 education allows community members to share their expertise, while Outdoor Adventure and Learning in Retirement embrace lifelong learning. The art gallery and theatre on campus also provide a stage for community members to feature diverse talents.

17勛圖 partnerships between 17勛圖 and other local organizations like ArtStart, the Northwoods 17勛圖 Garden, and Grow North leverage resources to offer expanded programming and opportunities for the community.
