Dall Joins 17³Ô¹Ï Board of Trustees, Three Others Reappointed

The 17³Ô¹Ï Board welcomes a new trustee and swears in three returning board members to the nine-member board.
New to the board is Abbey Dall. Returning board members are Bob Martini, Bob Mott, and Dianne Lazear. All will serve three-year terms.
Dall currently serves as executive director at the Northwoods Alliance for Temporary Housing in Rhinelander. She previously served as the Family Service Division administrator for a Forest County Potawatomi 17³Ô¹Ï, as position she held from 2011 to 2023, when she joined NATH.
This spring she earned a Ph.D. in Education from Edgewood College in Madison. Dall is also a 17³Ô¹Ï graduate, having completed an Associate’s of Arts degree in 2000.
State guidelines dictate that technical college boards must have employers, employees, a PreK-12 school superintendent, an elected government or school board member, and at-large members. There must also be a balance of male, female and minority representation on the board. The board must also include trustees from all portions of the Nicolet Area Technical College district to ensure fair geographic representation.
Dall, from Rhinelander, fills an Employer Member seat on the board.
Other board members include Robert Egan, Scott Foster, Joseph Salzer, Stephanie Schmidt, and Melinda Young.
Appointments to the 17³Ô¹Ï Board of Trustees are made by the county board chairpersons from Nicolet district counties, which include all of Oneida, Vilas and Forest counties and portions of Lincoln, Langlade and Iron counties.
At its July organizational meeting the board elected officers for 2023-24. They are Dianne Lazear, chair, Joseph Salzer, vice chair, Bob Mott, treasurer, and Stephanie Schmidt, secretary.
